SURPRISE! Pregnancy is by far the HARDEST secret to keep, EVER! Especially when your #1 hobby is wining & dining out with friends & fellow bloggers. Despite my new dietary restrictions, I think we did a pretty good job at keeping it under wraps until our big reveal. Thank you to my good friend Shaina, AKA Take a Bite Out of Boca, for encouraging me to write this post!
Luckily, I never had any morning sickness!
I definitely had food aversions, which made deciding what to eat for dinner a literal headache.
I am hungry 24/7 – without exaggeration. I eat every hour.
I’ve been super sleepy. Notice I haven’t posted in awhile? Yea, that’s why.
Fennel. Odd, I know. But I can eat a bulb for myself every day. I just add red wine vinegar, EVOO, S&P.
Fruit. Fresh fruit all day long! The type changes weekly.
Sushi. I can’t have the good stuff but I get by with shrimp & crab (only on occasion!).
Candy. I try to have as much self-control as possible, but it’s tough.
What I Miss:
Spicy tuna. This needs no explanation!
Coffee. I know I can have a cup a day but I’m trying to stick to decaf.
Wine. Because wine.
Oh & PS – it’s a BOY & we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him in October!
