It’s pretty clear by now that I’ve crowned myself the unofficial Donut Queen of South Florida. So when there’s donut news, I need to be in the know. Dunkin’ Donuts recently contacted me to let me know about three new items that I absolutely couldn’t wait to get my hands on: an OREO® & Raspberry Cheesecake Square and a Strawberry Croissant Donut. One of my silly fears during my pregnancy was that my tastebuds would change and I wouldn’t love the same things that I used to (that’s kind of a big deal for a foodie!). Donuts, thank goodness, are still my most favorite dessert & I love them more than ever! My title as Donut Queen is safe, in case you were worried.
What pairs perfectly with a refreshing iced coffee? DD’s newest Cheesecake Squares, of course. The new OREO® & Raspberry Squares are filled with smooth and creamy cheesecake filling, frosted with white icing and finished with raspberry flavored candy or crumbled OREO® cookies. Two words: HOLY MOLY. Indulgent, flavorful & just the right amount of filling without causing a major mess. It’s really tough to pick a favorite, so make sure you try both.
I’m a little ashamed to admit that I haven’t had a cronut (croissant + donut) before! Every time I had been in NYC, I just couldn’t bring myself to wait hours in line at the crack of dawn. Little did I know that I could just drive over to my local DD and have one of their croissant donuts – crisis averted! The new Strawberry Shortcake version is a classic glazed Croissant Donut with a strawberry buttercreme filling, finished with white and strawberry icing drizzle. If that doesn’t get your mouth watering, you might need your head checked!

Oh my goodness, the Oreo one sounds SO good! I am a sucker for anything Oreo-flavored. You’re going to turn me into a donut-lover… Oy!
