How I Manage The Daily Multi-Tasking Mama Grind

Not that long ago, I put a question box up on my Instagram Stories asking what YOU would choose as a career for me (besides full time mommin’, of course) and I wasn’t surprised that most of the answers included “something with food” and “nutritionist.” I guess I’m pretty transparent! As many of you know I like to dabble here and there in all things I’m passionate about and food + living a healthy lifestyle have ALWAYS been at the very top of my list. So, I decided to do something about it and further my education on the subjects – more to come on that another time. But, it’s not only “back to school” time for my kids, it’s my turn too!

Mornings with kids are hectic enough any time of the year, but weekdays when school resumes are a whole other level of chaos which usually carries into the rest of the day. Combine the craziness with my new curriculum requirements, remembering play dates & appointments, putting dinner on the table and lunchboxes in backpacks daily, etc etc, it’s pretty safe to say my brain is beyond F R I E D.

In order to give everyone and everything MY best (I can’t say “my all” because that would not only be a lie, but also unrealistic), I knew I needed to make a few small changes to stay with it. The small and manageable alterations I’ve made are:

  1. No coffee past noon no matter how badly I want it
  2. No alcohol during the week no matter how badly I want it – LOL
  3. Earlier bedtime with time to unwind before
  4. Pack lunches the night before & plan out dinners for the week ahead of time
  5. Add in some healthy supplements to give myself a boost of nutrients

One of the supplements I added into my routine is the Centrum Mental Focus from their new Whole Food Benefit Blends line. If you’ve been with me for awhile, you know that I pay close attention to ingredients and I feel more than comfortable taking and recommending this. These supps contain a blend of vitamins, spearmint extract and a fruit and vegetable blend that help me keep my focus in check and mark things off my never ending to-do list. Bonus: they’re also gluten-free, vegan, keto/paleo friendly, and have no added sugars, artificial colors or dyes!

If you have any other tips for making these hectic days even more manageable, please share them with me!
